Stacey Bell has been certified to teach yoga since 1995. Her foundation training in Kripalu yoga formed the building block for her immersion in vinyasa, yin, restorative, pranayama and meditation. Stacey studied Iyengar Yoga intensively with Mary Sinclair and continues to be committed to this methodology today. Her love of mind-body modalities began with the Alexander Technique and was certified in 1993. She also became a certified Craniosacral therapist in 2001. This path of study has influenced Stacey to weave the clarity of functional alignment with the subtlety of juicy energetics into her teaching.
Over the years Stacey has owned two yoga studios, Mindful Movement in Manhattan and Yoga Samadhi in Greenwich, CT. She developed a niche in healing injuries after Dr. Halina Snowball regularly sent her patients with musculo-skeletal issues. Stacey later became part of Dr. Snowball's wellness team at Pain Management in Greenwich, CT. Also, Stacey was the lead teacher for Garden State Yoga's Teacher Training in Bloomfield from 2011-2014. Currently, Stacey is out promoting "kirkstix" ™ a patented yoga prop she has co-developed which relieves tension in the neck and shoulders with many other functional applications.
