Sharon Ng
Yoga Instructor

Sharon decided to peruse Yoga as her life's work in 2012 and traveled around the world to study and actively practice “yoga.”  She is a 500 RYT. She received her 200 RYT teacher training in Ashtanga Yoga, in Florence, Italy in 2012. Sharon's teachings are inspired by various yoga lineages and movement sciences including but not limited to Katonah Yoga®, Vinyasa Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Yin Yoga, RPYT (Pre/Postnatal), and Animal Flow. Additionally Sharon has a background in Personal Training and Group Fitness through NASM.

Sharon’s goal is to serve as a catalyst in teaching and supporting students on how to use the yoga practice and community to live a richer, more informed, satisfying life. Providing a safe space for students to learn, grow, and increase awareness. Helping empower others by educating them on all limbs of yoga, beyond just the physical practice of asana and teaching longevity of the body, mind, and spirit.

Find access to different tools to explore and measure yourself. Sharon teaches sequencing that is traditional, spiritual and metaphorical, guiding and showing oneself - to oneself. Exposing one's strengths, as well as one's vulnerabilities. You can expect a challenging, empowering, and dynamic class where my goal is to help students get comfortable being uncomfortable and maintain an open mind to seeing things from a new or different vantage point.

Outside of teaching, Sharon has a big fitness goal of completing the 6 World Major Marathons (which is running 6 of the biggest Marathon’s in the world. So far she has run 3: Boston Marathon, NYC Marathon and London Marathon!) Sharon is new to NJ, she moved here two years ago from Brooklyn, NY. Sharon enjoys spending her free time with her husband and 3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, Koa doing anything active, being out in nature, solo time, hanging at Cafe’s and indulging the newest self care concepts out there, oh and travel!
