Marisa's journey with yoga began in 2004, igniting a passion that has flourished and evolved in countless beautiful ways ever since.
Drawn by the transformative power of yoga in her own life, Marisa felt compelled to share its benefits with children. In 2014, she embarked on her Radiant Child Yoga training, laying the foundation for her work with young yogis. A year later, Marisa's love for teaching, children's yoga, and her adventurous spirit converged as she realized her dream of relocating to Australia. There, she collaborated with a leading well-being provider, infusing her love of yoga and mindfulness into the lives of children, educators and families.
Marisa's dedication to her craft led her to pursue her 500-hour yoga teacher training at Jaipure Yoga, further enriching her practice and teaching expertise, while simultaneously completing an additional 150 hour children's yoga and mindfulness course. With boundless enthusiasm, she now leads classes and workshops for both children and adults.
Driven by her vision to nurture well-being in schools, families, and communities, Marisa proudly founded Marisalaurenwellbeing. Through this organization, she partners with yoga studios, community centers, and schools—both nationally and internationally—to offer a diverse range of offerings. From yoga and mindfulness sessions to mental health support groups, movement programs, camps, and events, Marisa's offerings embody her commitment to holistic well-being for all.
