Kristin has been practicing and studying yoga since 2008. She received her 200-hr RYT certification in 2014 through the Center of Natural Living at Kula Yoga and Wellness in Stanhope, NJ, with Jo Ann Staugard-Jones and Irum Naqvi, and completed her 500-hr RYT certification at JaiPure with Marcie Wallace and Loryn Riggiola in 2016. She is currently enrolled in the Yin certification program with Jacquie Ruderman at JaiPure.
She has been teaching a variety of styles of yoga since 2014, including Vinyasa, outdoor Nature-infused Yoga, hatha, gentle yoga, and meditation. Yoga has become an inspiration and important part of her daily life, both on and off the mat, and she is grateful to share that experience with others. Kristin's classes combine flowing movement with breath and creative alignment-based sequencing to bring balance and to the body and mind.
Kristin holds a Ph.D. in Ecology, and works as a Research Scientist, studying birds and other wildlife throughout New Jersey. She spends her free time enjoying nature, hiking, biking, kayaking; and deepening her personal practice and study of yoga and meditation.
