Jason recently received his yoga certification (RYT 200) from JaiPure Yoga in Montclair, NJ under the inspiring direction of Loryn Riggiola and Marcie Wallace. He began practicing yoga in 2004 and he has been hooked ever since. He finds tremendous joy in the balance and perpetual growth yoga provides.
Jason’s background is in the health sciences and he is currently pursuing M.D./Ph.D. degrees at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Jason is passionate about the wonderful health benefits of yoga and seeks to incorporate yoga into his future practice as an oncologist.
Jason teaches a yin/yang style of yoga, incorporating deep, introspective, and quiet aspects of yin yoga throughout creative and uplifting vinyasa (yang) sequences. By focusing on alignment, as well as teaching to be aware of one’s body and mind he hopes his students leave the practice feeling refreshed, happy, and empowered, but most importantly that they felt cared for.
