Alexis began practicing yoga in 2013 when a therapist suggested she try meditating. She soon found an asana practice for the very purpose it is designed: to prepare the body so the mind may become still. Her physical and meditation practice became the antidote to the stress of motherhood and practicing law.
Over the years, yoga has become more than just the antidote but also the answer to finding meaning in this human life. She completed her 200 RYT with JaiPure in 2021. Alexis is grateful to be a part of this community and the opportunity to share what she has and continues to learn as she travels this path.
When not practicing yoga or law, Alexis can be found cooking for her family, cheering her son and daughter on in their various sports, running, strength training, reading murder mysteries and caring for her family’s menagerie of pets.
